Still transport

For many people the main mean of transportation is a car. When you have a car you are faster than anyone who uses public transport. You can drive your car faster or slower as you like. And the only thing you have to think about is fuel. But there is a big possibility to become a “participant” of a traffic jam. Hundreds of people are being injured on roads everyday.  Most people prefer to use public transport. It is very convenient for old people and students. Because using public transport is much cheaper and nowadays there are new types of public buses which usually drive very fast. You don’t have to get taxi, when you pay not so much and when you go fast enough. Trolley buses and trams are considered to be the safest means of transportation. Trams are even safer because they have a railway and they are rarely involved to traffic jams. Unfortunately public transport is sometimes late. And we spend our nerves by waiting a bus or a tram everyday and if they come they are usually overcrowded by passengers. But still public transport is the most convenient for common people. And probably it will always be so until new ways and technologies of moving are invented.

Whether you are choosing

Whether you are choosing your transport via car, train, or airplane there is a growing need to remember that there are safety issues that need to be addressed and that you are part of the overall safety of the entire transport situation. In the event of an emergency, your response can either help or hinder the process of safe transport. The last time I was in an airplane the flight attendant launched into her usual rhetoric regarding the safety operations of the plane. Since I fly regularly, I knew the basic regimen by heart, but I also noticed that most people on the plane didn’t even have enough consideration to even pretend that they were listening. In fact, most people didn’t even look up or acknowledge that the safety lesson was beginning. While we might be able to recite some of the rules of safe transport even if we have never flown before, we still need the reminder in case we are not so fortunate to land safely as we expect to. Perhaps it is just the fear that paying attention to the direction of the safe transport directions might encourage a disaster somehow but we all need to hear the rules over and over again in case we are asked to respond in a situation. The more we hear the guidelines for safe transport the less likely we are to freeze should our help actually be needed during a trip. Safe transport requires everyone’s cooperation, even those who believe they already know the drill
